My friend and my king

In my most lowest moment of my life, when all things just turned upside down and nothing seems to go well and tiredness just seems to even make things worse, I needed a friend.
That point wasn't too far back, and it was my worse moment so far, where arguments and fights with a friend just never seem to end. So, out of desperation, I cried out to God and initially, I cried out to Him using the word "God" or "Father"
After a while, He place a hint in my heart to call His name instead. And His name is "Yahweh". It simply means in Hebrew, "I am"
His name, for some reason, makes me feel closer to Him and crying out to Him, using His name, somehow resonate within my soul, knowing He is near. From there, words came forth and it became a song;

El-Shaddai
Elohim
Matchless king
Yahweh

El-Shaddai
Elohim
Faithful One
Yahweh

We cry to You, Yahweh
We cry to You, Yahweh
We cry to You, oh Lord

That was the first song that came forth out of my desperate moment. And after long prayers and all, for some reasons, things didn't work out as how I thought it would. But in my stillness, God whisper to me, saying He is always on my side, even in the middle of the night. From there, a song came forth;

In the times of confusion
chaos and trial
In the times of triumphant
rejoicing and praise
You are still sovereign in every season
You are still Holy on high

When I cry, You cry with me
When I laugh, You laugh with me
When I mourn, You're there for me
You hold me close to Your heart
You are my friend and my king
(You are my friend and my king)

In the nights of sorrow
mourning and grief
In the morning of sunrise
deliverance and hope
You are my Father
and I am Your child
You are my strength and my shield

Look to You, Adonai
Look to You, El-Shaddai
I will put faith in You, in every season

We have this understanding that God is the king on the throne, but there are times where we need Him to be more than just a king; we need a friend and He is all that. A shoulder to cry and lean on, someone to call in the dead of the night, someone to tell secrets to and all.. He is all that.

Fire fall, Lion roar

One of the few revelation that was given to me, was the fact that, God was moving around the people in this nation in a very strong way. Especially young people. I look at my live and what a mess it was, ranging from family to friends to personal issues, but mainly, my identity. I realised I was at a constant battle with my identitfy and what or who defines me. But God, who is gracious, has been restoring all of that, pieces by pieces. I used to have this idea that Christ died, so that we may have salvation. What a wrong idea.
He did way way more than that. He died, so we may have the broken pieces in our lives restored. He didnt just redeem us, but the broken pieces as well, so He may fix it and restore it.
Here I am, was given words for songs that I never sang before or heard before. The words are as such;

This is our battle cry
This is our anthem of praise
This is our heart's desire
Lord, we give You our praise

Lord, You are the One for me and
I'm found in You and
forever You will reign
Fire fall, Lion roar

Broken hearts and broken lives be healed
in Your name
Broken hearts and broken lives be healed
in Your name

We Your generation will rise up
for Your name
We will shout Your battle cry
today

I know that this is a battle cry sort of song, but was wondering why God place the phrase "broken hearts and broken lives will be healed in Your name" and then, I realised this. God is healing this generation of their brokeness in heart and lives so we may rise up to take our place and claim this nation back.
The phrase "Fire fall, Lion roar" came about during free-worship moments when those phrases came about. It was a revelation that shows of the Holy Spirit reigning over the nation with such power and authority and Christ will co-heir with us, to roar so loudly, that it just porclaims the nation to the Father.
